It was a rainy day and the colors of this scene appeared muted and pale. I have to defocus this a bit to leverage on the pastel shades of the contrasting yellow and green, and thus the dream-like effect -- we see things a bit out of focus in our dreams, right??
Good picture. If it is an oil paint, I will think of Vincent's Wheat field with crows.
