The stream under the morning sun

The stream
This was taken with my favorite camera -- a camera I hate but I carry everywhere, the Sony Nex5.  I had it since it was introduced back in 2010, the package with the 16mm pancake, and had since used it as a supplementary to my heavy duty DSLR.  In this early morning, I was kneeling at the bank of this pristine stream, trying to catch the vibrant colors at the opposite bank lit up by the low morning sun.  I really wanted to capture the whole "island" across the water, but the widest lens I had at hand - even a 16mm equivalent, was not enough.  The solution would be a panorama, and the Sony Nex5 was my savior, as always.  This modern electronic marvel performed as "advertised", and I just love the results.
I hate this camera for its lack of an EVF.  My presbyopia is corrected by appropriate prescription eye glasses but there is still no way I can compose with the exact precision I like with my DSLR, and I hate taking pictures with this little EVIL.  But I just love the resulting pictures, the gizmos and gadgets, the tiny size, especially the pancake combo, and, did I mention the panorama feature?  I am a raw shooter, but when it comes to shooting with this camera, I don't mind the jpegs.  Every camera has its limitations, but we should be looking at its strength instead. Would this be a better camera if it is equipped with an EVF?  Yes, that's why I got the Nex7.  Am I a happier camper?
