Tri-X nostalgia?

Tir-X nostalgia?
My first foray into photography is with B/W film.  We of course started with Plus-X, Microdol X, etc, etc, trying to suppress the grain as far as possible.  Then we learned more about high-ISO film, the Tri-X, and tried to further push it to ISO1600.  We don't know what is photography, we're just a bunch of college kids trying to get something to do, and naturally we wanted to be different, and the grains and contrast from pushing the Tri-X rendered the pictures to look different, and we called it our style.
Then color photography came along and wiped off any possibility of our bathroom darkroom, and our interest in photography dwindled...... until we can do something about the raw file we captured in digital.
This is play, just having a dash of nostalgia of Tri-X.  Makes me think hard pulling out the Hasselblad and buying some Tri-X.....
