Nishikigoi 2

Nishikigoi 2
There is every reason for the nishikigoi to be so popular in the Japanese gardens.  A few of them in a pond of the right size provided the necessary liveliness in a tranquil garden, with bonsais on pebbled patches and stone lined paths in between.  The slow flowing water in the ponds would be a perfect backdrop for the nishikigoi's elegant performance.  A visitor has to be calm and relaxed to be able to appreciate.  Or is it the other way round, that the whole atmosphere would calm and relax the visitor?
