Lighthouse Park, West Vancouver

Lighthouse Park, Vancouver
This is my random wallpaper today, which reminds me of this picture.  This place was slightly off the beaten track, at the far end of Lighthouse Park which was already a not that popular park at the far end of west Vancouver.  The beach was littered with fallen trees and lost timber, and this broken-off branch provided a frame for the cluttered beach.  The couple at the far end on top of the rock added the focus to this photo.  Although the horizon equally split the picture, it did provide a balance instead of a monotony.

  2. It is very common for these remote beaches to be littered with stray logs and fallen trees. They provide very good destinations for short treks. Good thing is there doesn't seem to be any garbage from civilization -- plastic bags, styrofoam boxes, etc.
