A passing moment

An old lamp
I was visiting this old mansion and this vintage lamp was brightly lit by the sun piercing through a skylight, casting a beautiful shadow of the glass shade onto the wall.  Everything just came together within the moment, and it would be lost in about a minute -- OK, may be 2 minutes, but the shadow would not be exactly in the right place.  I love it.  It would unlikely make any great photo, but as I always say, a photographer would remember every picture and it is usually the circumstances, the thought process, and the passing moment that make it memorable for the photographer -- how he/she invokes the same feeling onto the viewers would make the difference between a great photographer and an ordinary photographer.
