A different way to shoot a bland object

Stanley Park
This is a panorama - my definition is that it has to be a stitched-together photo.  The good thing about this picture is it doesn't look like a panorama.  Not that it is a perfectly stitched together panorama, but it doesn't have that "wrong perspective" feel, like an obviously curved pavement or bulged middle. And the thing I like with this picture is that it shows the enormousness of the crown of the tree.  Indeed it is a big tree, and this picture helped with emphasizing that feeling.  Well, it is a picture of a very bland object -- who would take a picture of a tree by a bike path in Stanley Park in an ordinary early summer day?  The fun with photography is that you never have to go very far to take an interesting picture, or at least find some thing, or some different way to take a picture.  (I particularly like the boulder in the right, it sort of balanced the picture in a way......)
