Shadow details

Garry Point, Richmond
Picture was taken at 9:17pm.  It was way past sunset, with only the last rays of daylight from the horizon, yet the sensor was still able to capture the silvery reflections off the stray logs in the shadow, rendering this a much more interesting picture than just a pitch black sandy beach at the bottom.  I couldn't be happier when I pull up the file on the screen and found the remaining details in the shadow.  I'm loving this camera more and more.  I am not going to tell you what camera it is 'cause I decided at the beginning this is not a site about gears.  I may change my mind, as photography is, well, I think, 30% about gear -- your mileage varies, so to speak.
