A contre-jour picture

The ebbing tide under the setting sun
This scene was difficult to handle -- the light pattern changed with every ebb and flow of the waves, and the people were moving erratically, making composition very difficult.  I had a few pictures taken and I had a hard time trying to decide on which one to keep -- should I single out the father and the kid, should I keep the couple as the focal point, or should I aim for a "distributed interest" formation?  I decided on this, letting the audience roam free and choose their object of interest.
