30 minutes before sunrise

Yang Shou, QuangSi, China
I had this picture taken last August, that is about 9 months ago.  This is an amazing picture (according to my own standard).  I got up at around 4:30AM, hike up a narrow winding trail with mostly stairs, to be sure get to the top of the hill across the river before sunrise.  It was a magnificent view, with the sun getting ready at the distant mountains, the river tranquil from the missing boat traffic, and the morning mist lingering lowly on the foothills.
This is a perfect picture, with only one fatal flaw -- it's likely the 170,000 times this very same picture had been taken.  Go Google, Flickr or any other photo site and with a few clicks, one can fill the whole screen with every iteration of the same picture you can think of.  The world doesn't need another picture of this very same scene.
That's why I didn't post this picture, even though I sweat a lot to get it (or another 500 copies of the scene for the next 60 minutes).  Nobody cares how much you sweat to get a picture, they would yawn and click onto the next picture as fast as your spanking new camera can lock focus in broad daylight.
Yawn.......
But still. I enjoyed every minute up on that hill top that morning, a good exercise, and yes, the view was magnificent....
