Two pictures at the same spot

NanXiong, GuangDong, China
Two pictures were taken minutes apart, obviously at the same location and settings.  The only difference?? The use of a circular polarizer. In the top picture, lights reflected off the leaves, rendering bright white spots all over the places.  In the bottom picture, the polarizer effectively reduced the reflected lights off the leaves, and the green returned to the leaves as it should have been.  Amazing!!  I had the polarizer with me for a long time but I'm just too lazy to put it on..... May be for most of the cases, the effectiveness of the polarizer is limited, but resulting in a side effect in the reduction of all lights going into the lens, usually resulting in lost of about 1-2 stops of light. That may be enough to be of a concern when the shutter speed is already low.  In this case however, the difference in result is huge.....
