Another dawn picture

About 10 of us were sprawling over the side of a hill overlooking this tiny village, waiting for the sun to rise over the small ridge.  It was still very dark in this cool morning in April, and I had intentionally kept the exposure a little under.  Could this be a better picture done in HDR?  Not in the over-the-top, highly saturated fashion..... May be I should have tried.....
